Spring has sprung, which means Summer will be heating up soon. Don’t Fall behind! We find that our busiest times of the year are the start and before/after/during summer. January is the first month of the year, and often contracts will be up here. Many candidates who have been thinking about leaving their current position will contact us, and many clients who want to start the year off right will begin to inquire about our services. Summer means school is out soon, and parents are scrambling to figure out a childcare solution if life has gotten too busy, which it often does. September means school- and many families realize that the childrens’ schedules, school, and activities, combined with the adults’ schedules will soon throw everyone into chaos. 
One of our most asked question is “How long will my search take?”, and the follow up will then be (if calling far ahead of time) “If I want to hire for specific date/time of year, when should I get started?”. First of all- we have no upfront costs and you are only sent an invoice once a hire is completed, so why wouldn’t you sign up today ?! Maybe you are in a remote location, and maybe you can afford to provide the highest hourly rate. Maybe you can't! 
Every search is different from the next, and so we have to treat them accordingly. We always recommend providing market rate pay, and standard benefits. Even if you have a lower pay than other positions, benefits are a huge incentive and often make the decision for a candidate. Most candidates will not leave because of how they are paid, but rather how they are treated.
